Mia's family tree

Mr. Michael Sexton, an old and re spected resident of Kapunda, died on Friday last at the age of 74 yeares. He was born in County Clare, Ireland, and was about two years old when he landed in South Australia with his parents. For several years he was engaged in farming operations near Kapunda with his par ents, who held land close to the town. For some time he was fruit growing at Renmark and Mildura, but during the last five years, through failing health, he had resided with his daughter, Mrs. M. Kerin, of Adelaide Road, Kapunda, where he died. There is one brother surviving (Mr. T. Sexton, of Morgan), five daughters, three sons, 31 grand children, and 17 great-grandchildren. The funeral took place on Sunday at St. John's Cemetery. There, was a large at tendance, and the Rev. Father Hyland officiated at the grave.
